Could i have seen proof of bigfoot?

a couple of years ago my dad was showing me a place where bigfoot was said to have been spotted it is in the middle of nowhere with no one around. So my dad had taken me there a few times before. But this time there was giant footprints in the snow and they looked like the casts they have pictures of on the internet. At first i thought it was my dad but when he stood in the snow he only sunk in a bit but the footprints went all the way to the bottom of the snow(there was about a foot and a half of snow) so it had to be a really heavy animal could i have really seen footprints?
