Did howard stern make a mistake by moving to Sirius radio, from terrestrial radio?

Only a few million people hear him on Sirius versus the 12 million listeners he had before but Sirius paid him $302 million in 2006 alone so it's pretty hard to call that a mistake. Add to that the fact that Howard gets to do pretty much whatever he likes now with no censorship and I'd guess that he's a pretty happy puppy!
