Is Palin lying about what little experience she has?

She isn't lying about it: simply magnifying it. She basically failed as mayor (From 0 to 22 million in debt, including 15 million that she spent on a hockey arena that was built on illegal grounds, and tried to ban books from the library. And that's just the beginning.) and then somehow became Governor, where she hasn't done anything at all. She then tries to make people forget about all that by making hockey mom and pitbull jokes...
