Is America really that diverse?

America is only diverse in certain areas of the country and it's no doubt that there is a lot of racism in the media where minorities only get stereotypical roles. It's funny that in other countries where there is only one race, they are more open minded to what's in the media. Average Americans wouldn't want to look at an Asian in a nonstereotypical role. Heck, most Americans don't know much beyond their borders. In Asia, ppl are open minded to others around the world.
