Flute Upgrades??

I am currently in ninth grade, going into tenth, and I play the flute. I auditioned for the high school's wind ensemble, the highest level of band in our high school its on a professional level, and made it in. The conductor said I have excellent vibrato, tone control, and tune. Right now I have a Gemeinhardt 2SP flute. I was looking into upgrading to the Gemeinhardt 3SHB. This flute is open-holed, the headjoint is solid silver, the body is silver plated, it has a b foot joint plus the gizmo key, and stainless steel springs. The flute can also have the adjusted g key or straight key. Should I upgrade??
