Is this bronchitis or something else?

My throat has hurt for about the past 4 days and I developed a cough about 2 days ago that is just sounding more nasty with time. I'm really congested and nasaly and definitely have some post nasal drip going on. When I cough you can hear all the mucus in my throat. I have allergies but I take 24 hour allergy medicine everyday and I've been taking sudafed as a decongestant but they don't seem to be helping. I also feel like I'm wheezing sometimes and kind of short of breath, which is commonly a symptom of asthma, and I have asthma but even when I use my inhaler none of my symptoms improve and I use it like twice daily. I'm not really sure what's wrong with me. I don't know if I just have a cold or if this is something more serious. Can anyone help?
