Is my industrial piercing infected?

i got it a little less than a week ago and it seemed perfectly fine until tonight. now it's sore and it looks a little red and swollen. im pretty sure it's because i was in a play tonight and my character required a lot of hairspray and i had to have it in for a few hours. i plan on continuing to soak it in salt water twice a day, but i feel like the solution is too weak. the piercing place said 4 teaspoons in a gallon of distilled water but it seems like hardly anything. i also plan on getting a solution for it so i don't have to deal with the soaking when i don't have time. suggestions?
